Today’s open was fished on Fir tree pond and with a few of the regulars away we had a walk off for a change. Adrian Holland drew 1 and went straight to peg 2 which of late has been an inform peg, but with a strong warm wind blowing over his head into peg 7 the better stamp of fish followed the wind where the venue expert had decided to sit. Here are the results:
1st John Maundrell peg 7 43lb 3oz
2nd Alex Bradley peg 9 33lb 14oz
3rd Adrian Holland peg 2 30lb 10oz
