Had a friendly knock-up today with Roger Baker. The rule was waggler fishing only!! No poles and No Feeders and what an inspired idea! We both had a great day. We fished on Fir Tree pond, Roger was on peg 2 and I was on Peg 3. Roger started well and was taking carp just off the shallow ledge in front of him. I fed 2 small balls of ground bait at the start and got pestered by roach straight away, so moved out a bit further feeding 6mm pellets and started picking up carp. We both caught well over 4 1/2 hours. Roger ended up with 37lb I had 34lb 8oz. Well done Rog! P.S I’m the young one!!!! Ha Ha
