We had our third league match yesterday and after a slow start it picked up towards the end, for some! After the first hour and a half and no fish I went and watched my son play football for a couple of hours and some how fluked 5th in my section!! Here are the results:

Heron Lake

Sunday 20th was the second round of our winter league here at Amalwhidden. It was a good close match and both lakes fished well considering all the over night rain, here are the results:

Fir tree pond was the requested lake for today’s open as some wanted a practice for next week’s league match! Some learnt what to do, some learnt what not to do!! Here are the results:

We had the first match in our winter league today and with 16 fishing we pegged 8 on each lake as 2 sections and paid the top 3 on each. It was a pretty good day and some decent weights were had especially on Heron Lake. Here are the results:

We had a good number fishing today’s open and pegged both lakes. The warm autumn sunshine certainly helped as some decent weights were had especially on Heron Lake, here are the results:

Today’s open was fished on Fir tree pond and Alex Bradley was the run away winner setting a new lake record on what proved to be a pretty hard day for most.

Today’s open was fished on Fir tree pond and after a bum draw (sorry everyone) I realised we had 8 fishing. There were no great weights but a nice close match and David Anderson won his first match, here are the results:

Beautiful day today, but with the hot bright conditions the weights on both lakes were down on what they usually are. We had 14 fishing so pegged 2 sections on both lakes, here are the results:

For today’s match we had 10 fishing and I decided to peg 2 sections on both lakes. Both lakes produced good weights, with some close results:
